From breakup to makeup.

In the aftermath of his split with Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez is trying his hand at becoming a beauty mogul, having partnered with Hims & Hers to develop the brand’s first makeup for men.

Meet The Blur Stick, “a convenient concealer specifically designed for men that can be used for skin imperfections,” as the former baseball pro, 45, explained on Instagram.

“I wanted to create a product that solved an issue I faced every day. I realized as I was jumping from meeting to meeting, I needed something quick and easy in my routine to conceal blemishes or razor bumps,” A-Rod added of the inspiration behind the “sleek, discreet” cover-up stick.

Priced at $17 and available in eight shades, the product is formulated with soothing and moisturizing ingredients like aloe extract and jojoba seed oil. It marks his first product launch for the beauty and wellness company, in which he and Lopez became investors together last year.

But questions remain: Does The Blur Stick actually work? Is it any better than other concealers on the market? And does it actually stand a chance at giving JLo Beauty a run for its money?

To find out, we asked two men from the Post — one a total makeup newbie, the other an occasional cosmetics dabbler — to give The Blur Stick a try. Watch the video above for their full review, and read on for the product’s pros and cons.

PROS: Both head video editor Alex DePinto and writer/host Brian Faas were impressed by the concealer’s coverage and consistency, with the latter even preferring it to his usual drugstore compact.

Brian primarily used it to even out his complexion and tone down redness, while Alex liked how it masked his under-eye circles and small blemishes. Both agreed that they’d use it again in the future, particularly for special occasions.

CONS: Brian and Alex found the shade-matching process a bit daunting, since Hims is an online-only retailer — but fortunately, the product was easy to blend out for a natural look.

Alex noted that at $17, the price is somewhat steep, and said that he’d probably opt for a cheaper drugstore concealer over a more costly version “specifically designed for men,” like The Blur Stick.
