Thousands of wild cranes die from bird flu outbreak in Israel

Around 5,000 wild crane specimens have been found dead as a result of an outbreak of bird flu in northern Israel. The carcasses of the birds were found in the Jule Valley area, where these specimens usually rest during this time of year while migrating to the African continent. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority believe that another 10,000 cranes could be infected. -Editorial –
