Is There A New Episode Of Gold Rush: White Water Tonight? (November 26, 2021)

Do you think you have a tough job? Imagine venturing into some of the most inhospitable climates on the planet literally to search for buried treasure. Your livelihood depends entirely on how much gold you can find on a single expedition, and there’s little room for error when the slightest mistake can set back an entire day’s work. Those are the obstacles the cast of “Gold Rush: White Water” face every single time they go into the wilderness.

A spinoff of the popular Discovery Channel series “Gold Rush,” “White Water” instead turns its attention toward Fred Hurt and his son, Dustin. Each season sees them travel into Alaskan territory and battle against raging waters to find riches. It’s proven to be a popular foray for the channel, seeing how the spinoff debuted its fifth season on November 5, 2021. After only a few episodes, fans may expect the series to keep the train moving, but it appears that on November 26, 2021, viewers will have to go without their weekly dose of mining excursions.

No, there's no new Gold Rush: White Water episode on November 26, 2021

When looking at the Discovery Channel TV schedule for November 26, there’s no indication that “Gold Rush: White Water” will air a new episode tonight. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone familiar with television scheduling on Thanksgiving weekend. Many shows forego new episodes at this time because most viewers are out and about spending time with family or hitting up the biggest stores for some Black Friday deals. Additionally, this weekend tends to be when networks air holiday specials, so regular programming gets bumped off a bit.

The one thing that may make “Gold Rush” fans quiver a bit is the fact there’s no indication on the channel’s website when the show will return. Typically, Season 5 of “White Water” has aired on Friday nights, but there’s no listing for the show returning the following Friday on December 3.

It could just be that the show has taken a bit of a hiatus until Discovery feels like releasing more new episodes. Previous seasons of “Gold Rush: White Water” have had between nine and 15 episodes in a season, so there should be plenty more for fans to sink their teeth into in the near future.
