Harambee benefit concert

Francisca García Vázquez on piano, Juan Miguel Ortega López on clarinet and Víctor Manuel Martín López on baritone saxophone, all of them professors at the Ángel Barrios Professional Conservatory, performed a select repertoire with works by Beethoven, D'Rivera, M. Pérez, Gershwin, Cliff , Piazzolla and Morricone, who delighted the audience; all presented by José Luis Font Nogués, president of the Asociación Coro Argentum, organizer of the event that is now in its fifth edition and was sponsored by Caja Rural, Max Mara and Ofecum.

This concert made it possible to publicize the solidarity of the work of the NGO Harambee in favor of the one hundred educational and assistance projects that it promotes in twenty-two sub-Saharan countries. Harambee was born on the occasion of the canonization of Saint Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer, founder of Opus Dei, in order to promote initiatives for the development of education and health in Africa while carrying out communication and awareness activities in the rest of the world.
