The official Twitter account for the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles game announced that it exceeded 1 million sales on October 27. The game has been available since October 14, which means the milestone was achieved within 2 weeks.
The press release states that the number combines all the versions available, physical and digital. Currently, the video game is on sale in Japanese, English and Chinese for PlayStation🄬4, PlayStation🄬5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam.
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles
The combat action game is based on the franchise’s anime Demon Slayer. CyberConnect2 developed the game, Aniplex handles the production and domestic sales in Japan, while Sega releases it overseas to Asia, Europe and North America.
They’ve scheduled three free updates. The first will add Lower Rank Five Demon Rui and Upper Rank Three Demon Akaza as playable characters.

In Adventure Mode, follow Tanjiro through the story from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime as he faces demons in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human.
In Versus Mode, characters from the anime, including Tanjiro and Nezuko, can be freely matched against each another in a 2 vs 2 setting with up to 2 players on or offline! Enjoy this simple but exhilarating battle system, and become the greatest demon slayer you can!
