Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese anime series based on the manga series of the same title, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The second season, titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc, was announced on February 14, 2021.

The season will be directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with character designs by Akira Matsushima, and animation produced by Ufotable; staff and cast from the first season, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train also returned.

Akaza meets a disguised Muzan, who reveals his disappointment in Akaza for not being able to kill the other three Demon Hunters other than Rengoku. Akaza pledges to kill Tanjiro as the latter goes to meet Kyojuro’s brother Senjuro and his father.

Senjuro assures Tanjiro of letting him know more about the Hinokami Kagura, which is actually a “Sun Breathing.” Four months after Rengoku’s death, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke accompany Sound Hashira Uzui Tengen to their next mission – getting into Japan’s Red Light District, where demons reside.

Viewers in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil can stream the new episodes of The World’s Finest Assassin Official streaming sites Crunchyroll and Funimation. The Premium Subscribers will get to watch episodes on the day of the Japanese release, whereas the free users will have to wait until next week to watch the premiere episodes

Meanwhile, Muse Asia had announced they will stream the show in South Asia on their YouTube Channel. Wakanim has licensed the show in France, Russia, Denmark with localized subtitles.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 English Dub

Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation of when the series will available in the English dub as of writing. However, taking into account that the manga series is quite popular and everyone is hyped for the anime, it’s relatively safe to say that the English dub for Demon Slayer Season 2 will be announced very soon once it has been approved by its producers.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a battle-action shonen manga written and drawn by Koyoharu Gotouge.  Studio Ufotable adapted the same into a Television anime that ran for a total of 26 episodes from April 6 to September 29, 2019.

The story takes place in Taisho-era Japan, where Tanjiro Kamado, a kindhearted and intelligent boy lives with his family. He has become his family’s sole source of income after the passing of his father. Everything changes when his family is attacked and slaughtered by a demon.

Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko are the sole survivors of the incident, with now Nezuko being transformed into a demon, but still surprisingly showing signs of human emotion and thought. After an encounter with Giyu Tomioka, a demon slayer, Tanjirō is recruited by Giyu to also become a demon slayer to help his sister turn human again and avenge the deaths of the rest of his family.
