will opt for Golden Bear at the 72nd edition of the Berlinale
, which will start on February 10 with 'Peter von Kant', a film directed by the French François Ozon.
Carla Simón, which triumphed with 'Estiu 1993', will compete at the German event with his second feature film, 'Alcarràs', a film in which deals with the story of a family that must leave the lands of Lleida that they have been cultivating for generations. Simón had to stop filming due to the pandemic and finished it last summer. The film, coral, has non-professional actors, including farmers in the area. Its premiere in Spanish cinemas is scheduled for this spring.
Meanwhile, the Catalan director will present in the official section of the festival 'One year , one night', where Lacuesta approaches the Islamist attack on the Bataclan theater in Paris in 2015.
