Bethenny Frankel continues to spin her “Real Housewives of New York” fame into gold with her latest venture, Forever Young wine.
Frankel’s latest spirit follows the success of her “Skinnygirl” branded products.
“Can lightning in a bottle strike twice,” Frankel, 50, asked in an Instagram post announcing the libation. “I cracked the code in the spirits business once before. My little cocktail baby was the fastest growing liquor brand in history, at the time. I paved the way for many other media personalities to launch their own cocktail brands and created a new category.”
She continued, “Before Skinnygirl, there was only Diddy, Dan Akroyd, Sammy Hagar & Danny Devito, all men. Celebrities have historically been strictly told to never be photographed with alcohol. Liquor companies were marketed by men to men and I changed that game. Now it’s a whole new world for women, thanks to my little brand that could. I waited until I found another brand and concept that I wanted to call my own.”
Frankel goes on to sell Forever Wine as “superb,” “next level,” and “elevated” before adding, “With every sip, you will understand why I entered back into this space.”
Forever Young Wine is currently available in Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, with a Rosé option coming soon.
This is the reality star’s second major launch of 2021, releasing Bethenny Eyewear on HSN in February.
Frankel, who founded Skinnygirl in 2009 and sold her empire’s cocktail line for a reported $120 million in 2011, told Page Six Style in March that her new namesake eyewear brand comes from a “more mature” perspective than her Skinnygirl brainchild.
“Skinnygirl is about practical solutions for women and was created when I was a younger woman. Bethenny is about elevated solutions for women,” she explained.
