In fact, if Anya Taylor-Joy has any say in the matter, a new era of the most dramatic and sleek side part has actually just ushered in–right through our TV screens and straight into our hair-spo Pinterest boards.

In her brief acceptance speech, Taylor-Joy, who was also nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her role as the titular character in Emma, thanked her fellow nominees as well as her cast mates and crew.

“Thank you for being part of this journey, thank you for trusting me with Beth,” she said. “I would do this project again and again and again, I love it so much.”

It’s a win for side part-lovers and chess players everywhere, tonight.
