On Saturday, Consultant Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez volunteered on the Houston Food Bank to assist present help to Texas residents who’ve been affected by the current, devastating snowstorm which has impacted the world.

Ocasio-Cortez labored alongside Representatives Sheila Jackson Lee and Sylvia Garcia to assist pack packing containers of Food and provides for these in want.

Sharing footage from the Food Bank on Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez wrote, “We hit $3.2 MILLION in Texas aid help final evening! One of many locations it’s going is the Houston Food Bank.
